wats the biggest backbox u can put on a 1.2 without loosin backpressure and not sound crap any replies most appreciated bcoz i am very stuck on wat size to get .thanks

All depends on how much you want to spend peco bb4 80quid or rage 5inch universle back box for around 90-110 quid

wudnt u lose back pressure wid anyfing ova 3inch bcoz i was told u wud lose torque and u wud lose acceleration speed plz rite back cheers

ive got a 1.2 carb mate, im getting an exhaust system and manifold from sprotex for around ?220 (thats manifold and complete system!) a deal

i was going for the 3" cos i reckon it will loose back pressure, but im not sure, sum1 soon will let us know!

also if any1 else reads this, is it better to get the sportex manifold (new)
or a secondhand gte/gsi twin downpipe one?

im thinking the twin downpipe one, as 4-2-1 is better than 4-1, let me knoe tho!

Peco!! Dont even go there!

Rage sound nice and do some nice desighns but there are bastard to fit

Soprtex do a back box called boxter, its about 6"x3" oval, sounds nice & also loud and fits straight on for about ?100 or you can have the system fot about ?150 which is from the downpipes back.
