Hi all,

I have my 1.8 now but there is a problem:

On the carb there is a small balljoint linking thing that transfers the movement through 90 and up the side of the carb and no way of attaching the usual end of the throttle cable to it:

http:\\www.tms-stores.com\carb.html (paste to browser, HTML not working) This is a flash diagram, (not very good though, never used flash before)

If this makes any sense to anyone the spuare bit is the top of the carb and the manifold would be sticking out the front, the carb is square on the top and the bit I'm interested in is the cable from the right into the holder then how to connect to the top ball joint thing.

If this makes sense then great if not I will get some pictures of it.

Thanks

sounds like it could be similar or the same as the linkage off a 1.2 Nova Pierburg 1b1.

P.s. That address don't work.

The Address does work. Have you got Flash player installed? Or shockwave player?

I will have to go a vaux dealer as they seem to be hard to find, 3 scrappies and not one with the same carb!! Or linkage!

Thanx anyway
