wot seats?

i phoned up larks sport 2day to ask bout fixed seats for nova, as i plan to strip out the bak an cage it, i realy like Cobra imolas but they were sayin its tricky to fit them in, wot seast dya reakon? any pics an info welcome!

The seats should fit fine. Might have to drill a couple of holes for the subframes (which you'll probably need to get) in order to secure them to the chassis, but other than that, they should be ok. You could get side mounts if you want, but you won't be able to move the seats forwards or backwards.

ive got cobra monacos welded on 2 nova sub frames in mine they were a bit of a twat 2 do but sorted em in the end just welded a couple of strips of metal across the sub frame then bolted the acual metal strips i got with the cobras on 2 the new bits of metal

Have Cobra Monacos and had Cobra Imolas too.

Both fit very easily, but the imolas are slightly wider at the bottom/bolster bits, and so the door pockets foul them. Only slightly though, you can still close them. But it'd be best to change the doorcards.

The Monacos fit without touching anything.

I used Cobras tailored subframes (?50 each) and to fit those you just need to drill two holes for the rear fixing, and bolt it in the existing front mounting points. A monkey could do it.

shit, just realised that my post meant to say Monacos and Daytonas.

I molas are almost identical to Monacos. It's the Daytonas that were a bit fouling the pockets. Were nice seats though.
