Cam Belt

Hi all.

I got my Mk1 1.2 at 55,000 and it had 2 lady owners before me that kept it in very good nick. The car is now on 80,000 miles but i dont know when the cam belt was last changed. Should i bother getting it changed now or do you think it will be good for a few more mile yet.

Just get it changed. If it snaps you'll kick yourself for not gettin it done!

not worth it snappin. up to change ya belt now. or pull ya engine out in a few months. know what id rather do. only take couple of hours mate
