1.8 into a Nova SR shell

Hi Guys,

I have come across a crazy idiot that wants to swap a whole 1.8 lump, box and ancilliaries for my f****ed 1.4 bottom end. SORTED.

Now are there any complications to fit it onto my 1.4 box?

The air box is modified to fit already I just need to use a 1.4 box as I live on short straights and big bends!

I have also got one off arches, they are not quite complete but will post them when done, they are 205 GTi arches and door strips (rear ones still nova style). If anyone wants to know how to do them PM me and I will tell.

yep, apparently it is modded to fit into a nova already, I haven't seen the engine yet.

It was just what I was told, forget the air box, what about the gear box?

I would assume the 1.8 starter needs to go on, will it bolt into the box?

think u may bebetter off with a 1.6 GSI/GTE ull proberbly find the bell housing on the 1.4 is smaller so the fly wheel may not line up. :wink:

be sides ull still ave a screamer with the 1.6 box an ull still ave sum top end an a cluch !!!!
