IS a fuel return esential? i mean would it cause the engine any probs if if blocked it up and just had the fuel inlet??
my car is a 1.3sr with a weber 32/34 carb. as the return just is tapped off the fuel line after the pump isnt this just a waste of time and restrictin the amount of fuel allowed to ma engine?
would add a fuel filter in the process aswel.
thanks

No, you don't NEED one, but it's not hard to put a T-Piece in!

yeah i knwo its not hard. have 1 in at the moment but is not got a restricter in the return like the weber 1's do.
if it dont need 1 and it has 1 it just limits the fuel going into the carb coz half of it goes back down the return 2 the tank? doesnt it??

not all inlets have an output for a return hose. my sr doesn't now. but my previous sr did. not gonna make any difference anyway though, only feedin fuel back to tank to be picked back up. remember a 1.6 cav engine i threw in didnt have a return either. :)

the carb is gravety fed.. pull the fuel line off and see how long the car runs.... it doesn't need loads of fuel....
but the weber t can cause probs if the fuel level is low... by using an sr vapor can any air is sent back down the return line
