revs sticking.....hmmm help!!

Hello,

i got a 2.0 8 valve in my nova and the revs have just recently started taking a while to come down, it isnt the throttle cable soo what could it be?

also i am losing about 1 litre of water per week, and i cannot find anywhere where it is coming out checked everything.

ide look at leads, plugs etc and egr valve if youve got one.
