My dad bought me a mini last month, as i always wanted one for my 1st car. After starting work on it, on arrival home today from a weekend away, i find out they have bought me a micra too.

The micra is taxed n tested, the mini aint so i think thats wot they are planning to do. Shove me in the micra, hoping i forget about the mini.

I mean come on who drives micra's? lol and they dont get it into there dumb little brains i want the mini on the road, not another car!!!

You'd be surprised how many people own 1ltr micras fully comp, just so they can drive bigger cars

Use the micra untill you have done the mini? then sell the micra then you have a bit more money to spend on it.

You souldnt winge cos your parents have bought you a car mate, Shame its a micra but it give's you the ability to be able to drive even on a provisional licence.

My dad bought me a pug 306 1.4 xsi to drive while im building my Nova! Even taxed and insured me in it, although i pay the insurance on it which is more than fair.

i see your point, but they know how much i want the mini doing, and they waste money on another car.

granted the micra isnt top of the "cool list" but hey they can probably see that the mini will take a while to sort out so they got you a cheap to buy/run/kill car (which in all fairness you will probably write off, no offence but statistics do go against you)

i mean im no particular fan of my nova, but ive had it for 5 years now and its done its job very nicely got me cheap motoring and the all important NCB :D

so stop being an ungrateful shit lol

Ok so why is this car so special? In 1988 Nissan decided to enter the new Group B rally. To do this they took a Nissan March (Micra in Europe) and modified it. They scaled the engine down to 930cc which both strengthened the engine and allowed it with the 1.7x forced induction factor to enter the 1600cc class. They then added both a Supercharger and a Turbocharger. Finally to comply with the homologation rules they had to build a production car and this became the Nissan March Superturbo.

This is what I have here. Only 10,000 were officially made and with its unique engine design made it the first production car in Japan ever to have both a supercharger and turbocharger. The result of this was a car that when compared to its stock model had over twice the power, less than half the 0-60 time and was still nearly as light

they've bought you a mini as a project and a new micra to drive while you do it.

and your moaning because?????

Jordi
16-02-04, 03:42 PM
cos i wud have rather spent the money on the mini.

TBH, my dad never wanted me to have the mini, so this might be his way of making me sell it and keep micra, but i arent gunna.

And everyone i've seen in micra's are old faggots. lol

dave.gsi

if you spent the money on the mini you'd have to walk/bike around. not exactly good lol

plus once the minis almost finished you could sell the micra and then use the money

Jordi

suppose, but my scooter is taxed / insured until sept/aug anyway, so i cud just keep that. I dunno, but the mini stays woteva he says. Its in my name, so he cant sell it without me.

Makes sense to keep mini off road n do it proper i suppose, but i know hes planning for me to get rid of it. He'll insure me on the micra then say he wont insure the mini, hes like that.
