escort mk2 question

lads n lassies,

in the 1.3 mk2's is it possible to get the differential welded so to have a bit of arse action like a twincam?
i realise that the 1.3 engine would not have enough power to be able to go round fully (correct?) but a little sliding in the wet would be nice. :wink:

if so does anyone know who has done this?

Yes you can i think, a mate uses mk1 and mk2 escorts for racing @ lidon and brands hatch, he does this to his cars.

i managed to get my 1256cc rwd viva slippin and slidin in the wet; 60bhp no lsd; can't see why 1300 x-flow can't hack it....
