I wa looking to fitting a 1.4 16v and was wondering if people could tell me anything that i need to do. I don't want injection and i am looking to have more torque rather than speed. What sort of BHP am i looking at getting. I have a 1.4sr at the moment. Anybody Help?

8 valves tend to be torquer than 16v at lower revs...
whats up with injection?....
click on www.velosmotorsport.co.uk there you can see what power you can get. or www.sbdev.co.uk

it'd prob be cheaper getting a 1.6 8v/16v. U have more horsepower to start with and money u save on modding 1.4 to go towards insurance.

if u mean quicker off the line than top speed then ul want a lower final drive ratio such as a 4.18.

its an easy conversion into a nova
