I wanted to get a pug 106 quiksilver for my first car but cant afford one so i'm probably going to get a nova instead.
Anyways thought i'd register here as i have always had a bit of a thing for novas.

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYA.....
Pugs suck m8, u'll b more happy wiv a Nova, i know i was :-\
I've always had a bit of a thing for small cars.
Cant wait to get a nova so i can start moding it ready for when i pass my test.
Not sure what engine to get. I'd love a 2ltr 16v Turbo but at 17 with no no claims in a not too great area the insurance would kill me. so i'm undecided between a 1.0 a 1.2 or a 1.4 any recomendations?
Also what things should i check for before i buy a nova apart from rusty arches.
1.2 is a great buy get a carb. Check the boot floor and around the sus

What about a 1.4SRi :-)
What insurance groups are the 1.2s
am i right in thinking the 1.4s are group 5
and also what size alloys fit straight on with no arch work. and i know novas nead a et49 offset how do you know what offset wheels are can you tell just by looking???? :?
Sorry about all the questions its just i dont want to buy a shitter or Fuck it up.
http://www.abi.org.uk/carinsurance/search.asp
... will give you a form to check insurance groups for all UK spec cars.
And....
http://www.pvdalloys.co.uk
... do a good selection of vauxhall-friendly alloys. Hope those two links prove useful for ya.
cheers mate.
They help loads nice one.
A nice set of big vaux freindly wheels are dare v4s yum yum
I like the look of these.
http://www.pvdalloys.co.uk/teamdynamics_prorace1.asp
but i'd prefer them silver i think.
or i also like these shame they are ET42
http://www.pvdalloys.co.uk/wolfrace_urbanracer2.asp
I like the second one they are nice they are the ones on the haynes nova
You could probably get away with the Wolfrace ones on 15" on ET42
my m8 had the first set of wheels on his nova and now got them on his corsa and they look mint! i like the second set and i reckon u mite be able to get away with them on a nova.
if you look on the reverse (inside) the alloy wheel, they should be stamped there what offset they are. some stamp some dont.
welcome to novaload.
hi and welcome, get that god damn max poo'er wanna be saxo off ya site, its ugly as anything!
Cheers everyone. still like the wolfrace alloys i'll probably get a set once i get the car. Whats the biggest i could go, and how hard is it to roll teh arches myself.
Gotta get a job (or rob a bank) soon so i can get a nova and a few mods for it.
And as for Shaun o Meara's saxo we had a poll on the site and it seems that people love the saxo.
