what shall i do? i have a 1.3 SR which burns oil and want more power :twisted:

I chose 1.3 it will be more impressive but its ur choice at the end of the day

go for the 1.6. its more power before you even start

I agree with m.d there but will cost you more money and instead of burning oil it will burn more fuel :o

well I've decided after a debate with a few ppl who race novas that I shall be rebuilding my 1.3. I'm doing the lot though when its apart, lightened balanced everything. Over bore, bigger pistons, ported polished and big valve head, ast 2 cam and twin 40s :D

It is quite a tough decision, because the rebuilt 1.3 will impress everyone cus it still a 1.3. But the 1.6 is still be far more powerful because its bigger but increased running costs and insurance etc.
But if you don't car about the costs then deffo go for the 1.6.

Speak to Slatter... he did a similar thing to a 1.3, I'm sure he'll be full of advice for you :)
