if u want a decent list of wots involved have a look at the valver parts post in this forum, i wrote that for the 16v engine but most of it applies to the 8v

oh and 1800 quid id pay tht for a valver nova no worries, make sure you dont crash it in the 1st year and that would ome down a lot for the 2nd year

also need to modify the bottom pully, slightly modify the inner turret to clear the alternator (not as much as 16v though, also need to modify gear linkage and rear box mount. And brake, musn't forget the bigger brakes

8 bhp i cud get out and fcuking run with that lol ?285 for 8/10 max bhp kiss my ass lol

if you knew wot u were doing that wud help

its not just a case of bolting on this and that and having xxxbhp, also have you considered torque? didnt think so.

Anyway take a 1600 engine for an example, if you had bigger inlet valves put into the head, a decent cam and some weber carbs for example you would be looking at 130/140bhp, does that sound more fun?

failing that go with the valver and ring LV 8 times, 7 of the times they will ay no, 1 they will insure you so silly ?s do that
