ive been offerd some vw golf alloys will they fit on my mk1??

i think the pcd is the same but the offset is way out

Offset is something like 35mm on golfs i think, so they may well fit (if they're 16" or under) but will probably stick out a bit and/or catch on the rears. And put the handling out a bit.

had golf rims on my mk1 didnt touch on outside of rim they were 185 50 15 they did rub on inner arch a bit with 3 in the back
