Temp sensor guage - where is it?

Hi all,
Does anyone know where the temp sensor guage/dial on my GTE goes to? I thought it went to the the senor unit that screws into the side of the engine underneath the dizzy? Does anyone have a pic of where it dos go?

ahh! its a bitch to find lol
its just under the inlet manifold in the centre, at the back of the block, if you get me lol

check the wire going to it, its a blue wire with a spade connector on it, as mine wasn't working and i checked it and the wire had just snapped

Na, now that I know where it is I remeber ages ago taking the sensor out coz it wasn't working then and checked it on a ohmeter I think and it was definatly dead and just didn't put it back so the temp. wire's tied up near the oil press. sensor waiting for a new unit. Ta
