On the way back from taking a mate to get his window's tinted i thought i woul go get my wheels balanced, and the tracking, alignment done..

when driving there(down a singal track country lane) i was just driving along talking to my mate, thinking hu funny not yet seen another car for ages? well round the next corner came this batterd up D,redg astra so as i looked for a "safe place to pull up" to let him pass i pulled over into a small pulloff bit..you know what i mean... and there was a nice pool of water there,we have had load of rain so thoght nothing of it...well this pool of water was only there cus it was a 10" deep "POTHOLE" :o

so this smashed my bumper to and wrote of one fo my alloys, which i didnt know till i got the wheel banced on there machine, then you could see when it was spining there is a massive indent where it's buckeld...
So got onto southwest tyres and they sorted me a new wheel & tyre for ?170,ready to fit..
but the thing that pished me off is the wheel balance & that only came to ?25!...oh well

I'd take it up with the local district council, take some pics of the hole and damage to the wheel / tyre and keep the receipt for the new ones.

yep im doing this mate i was told by the guys at the garage to this and the guy at south west tyres..im not fused on keeping the new wheel.
The damaged one is stil ok to use as a spare, but not good for doing any high speed on...and will look smart to have a 17" in the well...if it fits? :?

My mate went down a pot hole the other week and fucked one of his 17z, he phoned up the local council and they said that they would pay for a new wheel.

They should pay for your bumper aswell as the pot hole was down to them.
