I personally think they look stupid mate and are a waste of money.

I also dont like the thought of smashing my head on them every time i get out of my car

But its your choice mate.

i get your point im a bit unsure of them but i need something different to make mine stand out. Do u know if flaming exhaust kits work well with carb cars? mines only a 1.2 though

Iv'e seen th kit on a 1.0 and it worked shit hot. it spat flames about 4 foot long and also made a nice poping noise to.

You can get the kit to work on most cars as it works on unburnt fuel being let out via the exhaust and is then ignited by a spark plug mounted in the tailpipe. Although you might have to adjust the mixture on the carb so the engine runs a little rich in order for it to produce unburn fuel.

do you know where to get one from?

My cars already ticking over at 2000rpm at the mo lol it dont like the cold

That doesnt really effect the way the kit will work mate as its the idle valve that needs adjusting to sort your tick over problem out.

Its the fuel and air mixture that may need adjusting for the kit to work at its best.

The kit can be bought from www.potn.co.uk for ?100.

IAint that a gsi built by a bloke called stuart crossely, Theres a gsi under that name aint it says that the kit is completely one off. the bumpers are from other cars and have been modded to fit the nova.

well i know i thought that, i know the front bumper is the same as a nissan skyline, but sabre are gonna chuck this kit out at ?1000

novalew
07-02-04, 11:43 PM
and it doesnt look easy to fit if u ask me

Ben3042
07-02-04, 11:47 PM
No kits are easy to fit as they are cheap moulds made from fibreglass and always require cutting and the support of somesort mounting inside the bumpers.

Fuck paying a grand for that kit, i'd rather buy a C20 LET, Far more impresive :D

yeah i agree that fitting a kit aint easy but when u have to start chopping arches it aint fun, as i have just had both my rear arches renewed with new ones and it wasnt an easy job
