right its all fited apart from driveshafts the only problem im havng, is fitting the rad in, and the alterernater is toucheching the shell any ideas?

on mine the alterernater is very close to the shell, as far as i know some people just hammer the shell where it touches it, as the engine only moves the most up and down, but dont go doing this as i aint sure.

What radiator u fitting, why cant u use the nova one?

i think mate if the alternator hits the body on the 8v conversion the engine is not sitting straight. mine was hitting and the engine wasnt straight.

ok ill bash the alternater in , rad i have that sorted now, my last problem guys!!! is driveshafts i have no idea what driveshafts i need to use plz help

Your meant to bash the engine bay so the alternator clears it. :D

lol ok i was typing fast i know wat i mean :P, so guys wat drive shafts do i need plzz help

you can buy them from PVD for alot of money or if ur using a F16 gear box, mk1 cav inner CV's and nova GTE shafts with 22 splines on so they'll fit in the CV's. Good luck finding some, there are 3 ppl on here trying to find some and none of us can!

why are peeps having probs finding 22 spline shafts....

1. drive to scrap yard
2. view shafts
3. buy shafts if correct... if not then return to 1

i could get 2 sets today if i wanted with no hassle

is the 22 spline shafts off a gte ? cos i got some gte shafts and they did not fit so take them back and gonna have to have another look around its my only last problem!!!!!!!!!!

i've stillg ot a set of GSI one i got thinking they were 22 splines but they weren't, cant get the bloody circlip thing back in so got ?60 sat in my garage till i take it back.

gte are 22 spline? there not. ive been to 5 places all are not 22 spline.

i really dunno wat to do

right would an astra 22 spline shafts fit ? or to long?
