I know this probably aint the best of ideas to actually carry out but how much gain would Turboing a 1.2 nova have?

I have never heard a turboed 1.2 nova and i just had a wierd brainwave and wondered.

Of course turboing it would also mean uprating all the engine parts on it so any estimates on a 1.2 turbo nova?

What if ur a total idjit and you're determined to get the most out of a 1.2?

It must be do able...there must be a way! Even if it costs loads!! :!:
What about fully stripping the car out,
Lairy cam of some sort,
ported and polished head,
full exhaust system,
lightened and balanced bottom end,
throttle bodies (can u get them 4 a 1.2 - i doubt it),
T40s! (or not)
and dont forget your K&Ns! :wink:

Maybe a turbo on top of that?

yes its possible to get a tuned 1.2, but the one thats being done is not going to be turboed.

Got that one from a tv program. Saw some guy nitrous a Ford Ka and i really cnt stand them, so i suppose it poss to nitrous a 1.2 nova, or is it?

yes they have but that was a 2.0 turbo i think

BTW your 1200 to strenthen the bottem end alone will be a grand, for that price u cud have brought 2x 2.0 16v engines ;)

duno was chips bird, was at the PNG national day,

as for twin engined

2x 2.0 16v turbos phase 3.5 running 350bhp each so (700bhp) a nova of this caliber exsists, it ran a 3.81 0-60 seconds at trax in september :D

Ive got a mag at work from about 4yrs ago that is a 1.2 turbo. I'll get the artical posted monday.

Its kicking out over 130bhp. It was made on a very strict budget. Thats all i can remember at the minute.
