Depends on the driver. You can have someone in a car a lot more powerful than yours yet they can't drive for toffee. Best bet is to get yourself to SantaPod and put some recorded times down.

as slim said. the flip side to racing is getting caught or having an accident. just look at yesterdays news about the illegal immergrent that got 2 years.

just do a grange hill song and just say NO.

his carbs might not even be set up properly, and could be runing lean.

have a go. no shame in losing when you're in same make and model engined cars and yours is standard. his car SHOULD win so if he does, it's only what's expected. if he LOSES, then shame in him. lol
