oil problem

got this prob that is really confusing me.

when i go round a right hand corner my oil guage drops into the red amd the oil light comes on. When i go around a left hand corner the guage shoots well over to the right, do you guys know what this could be? the only thing I can think of is that the sump is shagged??

any help much appreciated


this prob has only occured in the last 200miles!?!

have you checked the oil level?

you'll find thats an oil pressure guage lol

and yes check the level as the surge is causing the pickup to not get any oil.

might be worth taking the sump off to clean the pickup too

I have checked the oil, its just over the max on hte dipstick, when i saw the light come on i put some more into it!

could it be that the oil is moving about in the sump too much??
