Just wondering what the part number is for the bias valve off a nova van?

I remember Niel saying something about this when fitting rear disks to his car.

Ste/ Niel any part numbers guys?

Thanks. Karl.

Brake biass valves are fitted to a variety of motors but vans almost always have them. They are usually linked to the rear suspension in some way so that as weight in the rear of the vehicle is increased so the braking effort is increased as well. The idea being that with more weight on the rear wheels you will be able to apply more braking effort without wheel lockup. It also helps the other way round cos vans can be very light at the back when empty and with stiff suspension would be prone to locking up and causing the vehicle to become unstable under braking

Thanks for that mate!

Did you replace both regulators with the kadett 16v 3/20's?

Ive got 3/35's on mine at the moment.

Ermmmm...... The regulators are still standard :)

I've been having too much fun round wet roundabouts dabbing the brake pedal and having the rear lock up.... :D Its good pratice

I will be changing them in the near future when I get my new front brakes.
