sorry ian i know its an ICE question but i get the feeling no one looks in that forum.
I got the option of getting a 12" rockford fosgate punch xlc sub and a RF amp and RF box for ?250. This is brand new and through mail order. the sub being the RFP2412 and the amp G120a2. What do you reckon to this or do you reckon the 12" PIONEER metallic one. Very nice i feel. Not sure on the price for amp and boc though. Sub is ?120 though. So what you all reckon.

get the RF stuff coz pioneer is kinda flashy but dont sound as good as it looks.

Rockford mate it's much better, I used to have to 12's in my nova and it made so much noise. It's generally better quality stuff as well:D

TBH I don't think the rockford stuff sounds as bassy as the competition.. the kenwood cyclone 12" subs (65 quid) get top reviews everywhere, worth considering... not sure on which amps are best tho

rockford and alpine are VERY good amps if a little pricy from time to time. but good value are Legacy amps.
