Glove box illumination

anyone got a mk1 glove box with a light? if you have then could you tell me where the switch for the light is situated.

tryin to put one into mine at the mo.

isnt it a type of pin sensor?

when the box door i closed, the pin i pushed in, and light goes off, when door i open, pin comes out, light is on?

correct that man, same on the mk1 & mk2
open the glove box and look at the top lip, you will see a square hole at the top left hand side, the pin switch goes in here and the light on the left hand side in the roof or side of the glove box,
have fun - mine was a pain in the arse, just kept melting wires.
