Best Standard Nova Colour??

What standard colour do you think looks best on a nova?? I think Miami Blue was the best colour but i know it was not to everyones tastes. That was the colour of me first nova and looked quite good when it had some styling bits on it. Only annoying thing was the cost of the paint because it had to be specially made :roll:

between me n the missus we've had 7 if you include the 2 my missus currently has.Yellow, blue 5 door, blue merit, black SR red SR, reg gsi, silver gsi.

Best colour out of the lot of them was black. My black SR was gorgeous, shame i never drove it - just left it behind the flat and washed it from time to time lol.

My SRi is black. That looks gorgeous when its clean apart from all the rust and rot on it!! I havent washed it since about november so it looks filthy. I should have washed it really but couldnt be bothered. The winter has taken its toll on the bodywork cuz of all the salt on the roads, its made all the rotten bits get more rotten and started to make the tailgate go rusty!! When i first bought it from the salvage yard it was covered in cement dust. I think it had been recoverd from a quarry or something the guy sed! That took 3 washes to come clean!

i searched for ages for a top condition black nova shell for my LET project,
so i'd say definately black is the best colour-followed closely by silk violet...

White only looks good on 1.4SR(i)s that are standard, looks awful on everything else.

Blue or flame red is the best (blue i don't know the name, identical to walkers crisps blue though!)

Mk1 SRs look great in Mustard Yellow!

lazer blue - mk1 SR
flat black - mk2 SR/SRi
carrabic blue - 1.2 mk2 (only came on the luxe's)
flame red - GTE
black - GSI

h-k breeze blue sri

for a racer look, jamaica yellow

they do get dirty quickly though...would have thought you couldn't get much worse than white to keep clean though.

didn't realise there were so many different colours. Will have to look them up or something...stelios blue, lazer blue, carrabic blue...ffs, lol

In my totally biased opinion though - Diamond Black is still the best colour

I quite like carmine red (I think that's the colour??) on standard looking SRs with all the vinyl on and anthracite bumpers as well...

Just picked up two mint doors from the scrappy making my black SRi actually a multicoloured one with two maroon doors, one flame red wing, another in a red that has faded in the sun and hopefully a white bonnet soon 8)
they will ofcourse be getting sprayed!!!
