ive connected up my clifford concept 100 alarm. when i connected it yesterday the alarm wouldnt stop. the battery was a bit flat and the indicaotrs wherent connected to the alarm. however i connected the indicaotrs today and the battery is still a bit flat and the alarm was still going off and i had no lights, not even headlights. also i may have the fuses the wrong way round (how do i tell) and i dont have one of the sensors connected would these make a difference.

Its one those problems you cant solve without actaully looking at.

It shouldnt matter which way round the fuses go.

If i were you id get it fitted proffesionally as any alarm that is diy fitted can easily be worked around.

if you have no lights, you have probably immobilsed them so no thief can turn them on as he drives your baby away! lol

Fuses go in either way. As for not disarming, are you sure there is a battery in the key fob? if there is then it might not be programmed into the alram. Most good alarms have a way of disarming them by turning the ignition on and off in a set sequence. You will have to make sure you have the correct switched ignition going to the alarm trigger.

with the fuses there are 2 fuse blocks. one is ment to have a 5 amp which the alarm connects to before the battery and the other is a 20 amp. on the wiring digram it says that number 16 in the connection block is red and 17 red and white. on my connection block they are they wrong way round. so i just guessed. and as for getting a professional to do it on the isle of man you will be paying a bomb plus im pretty handy with electricals so i think ive done a good job. ill try the charging the battery and see how it goes.
cheers for the help
