how to get the doors off

how do you get nova doors off what tools do i need to use

You will need a door pin remover, and can be bought at any decent tool shop.
Still is a rght pain in the ass! I usually end up grinding them off, but thats not advisable, if you are keeping the shell!

a punch, pref a long one and a lump hammer. take off top n bottom pins, then the middle one which is dead small. id get a mate to hold it 4 u, coz thr alot heavier than they look!!!!!!!!!!! :D

i had to grind the bottom door pin off. i did it on the door side though so i could just stick the new door on . no damage at all to the body.

apparently if you cut up a standard support thingy that holds the bonnet up and keep the end that hooks into the bonnet and a little bit more of the metal this is the right size for tapping the pins out of the hinge, also allows you to have a length of metal so you dont hit the a piller

just get the proper tool. draper do one for about a 10er from most motor factors.

i used bonnet stay. no damage to anything. and they can be got from scrapyard for next to nowt.

glad some one put this up. just got two doors off ben. so was going to ask myself eventually. think the bonnet stay thing sounds like a plan. even better as i am going to put lifters on the bonnet.
