dose anyone know if a 2.0L 8v has the same mounting points as my 1.4 sr engine cos i wanna drop a 2.0L in my nova but only if it'll drop strait in any info we be usfull thanks peeps

The mounting locations are in the same places but you need to lower the drivers side mout as far as i no.

i think its only the 2l 16v thats needs lowered 1.5 inch

both engines need the d? side engine mount moving down think its 1.5 inches an re welding bk up. or motorsport do the conversion mounts that just bolt in2 place.

mike oxford should agree with me on this but i have seen a 2litre 8v go in on standard nova mounts but it's very hit and miss, best bet is go to www.valvers.com and buy a set of mounts off brian for 40 quid they just bolt on then you use the 2litre mount with it
