I'm looking for pictures of the Nova below, it was only at Trax 1999 at which i think it won Car of the Show. It belongs to a guy i know, and he asked if i could find any other pictures. He's been rebuilding it since 2000 and it looks a lil different now.

It's almost as bad as that grill you used to have on your black nova

Hopefully i'll try and make the VBOA, if not, 100% trax!

Yeah, he has a trophy and everything lol! But you needed to have seen it in the flesh to appreciate it, you have to remember it was 1999 too. It was a rusty silver SR that he fully restored replacing every nut and bolt and every pannel, including all chassie legs and floorpan. And the whole was absolutely MINT!

Its now got a 2.0L 16v running throttle bodies and some expensive management system. It has no distributor but instead this lil black box in its place, not sure how he managed it.

Only thing is, he's kept the front bumper :(

Yeah it uses an ignition amplifier and some electronic advance or some shit i don't really understand to be honerst!

I do know it costs an arm and a leg when it goes wrong!!

Anyway, I still can't believe that won "car of the show" I remember Gary Hope's car was there in '99, so was Brett W's (when it was blu), Nick Caro's, Pete Neal (remember him??) and that car is parked next to Matt Searles (A16V NV for all you number plate buffs out there!! Barney!!) ALL those cars are (were?)far better than that one!!!

Oh and Keith, for that comment about my unique one off grille (unlike a NovaDose bumper.....) I'll burn that SR rear vinyl I was going to give you...........

I won't really!!

Thank you for proving my point Jules.

But i've never been a fan of Jason Hudsons car. Just std. gsi with a splitter..

and blades are soooooooooooooooooo passe, kinda like Venom's

True, I've never been a big fan apart from the L plate, the rear opening windows and that little 'Vauxhall' sticker on the tailgate vinyl.

Yeah I forgot about the opening quarters....

If i remember rightly they cost about ?300!!! and he had to drill an "L"reg shell to fit them...........

I heard he took the car off the road for a full rebuild....

Yeah to fit the rear opening windows you do have to drill a couple of holes for the hinges and brackets.

Taken it off the road for a rebuild? Should be interesting when it's done, Personally I like the MK1 Astra that he's restored (In the latest TV magazine) so if it comes out like that then it'll be one to look out for.

Jason Hudsons nova is pants. Silver GSI's always seem to look awsome but the stuf he has done to his make it look shit, them blue bumper strips for a start, the highering kit, TSW wheels, what look like cut rear arches and the splitter make it look shit. And for some reason it looks like a milky off silver, silver not pure silver. Rick

the highering kit

LMAO!!!
