Hi

i have got an 13sr engine and a 1.2 engine. I want to make a 1.4. Can you tell me what i need to do (and where to get it done).

I have been qouted ?50 for the rebore but most places ive tried have said I wont be able to get the 1.2 pistons off the rods cus they are shrunk on

1.3 block bored to take 1.2 pistons
1.3 crank
1.3 rods
any decent engine builder will be able to sort the rods out

The engine builders round here have all said its not possible to remove the pistons from the rods without them being damaged. Have you done this conversion your self? If so where did you get the pistons done at?
