Looks really good Miles. White wheels really suit red cars :) As for the engine, the figures speak for themselves. Would be very impressive to see you in the 13's this year :)

yep sorry to go slightly OT but how often do TV articles refer to a specific feature on the car only to have no photographs of it?!

Can someone scan the article?

Yeah, Like lasts months pics of Karls car. They only had one small pic in the corner of the page of the whole of the engine bay! :o And to me thats the best bit of his car.

Also whats with the pic of Miles Door handle! And a close up pic of the filler cap :x But no pics of the rear end!!!! What are they playing at! The editor needs a good slap

Total vauxhall never have any decent pictures in the mag's! They need to get some on the road shot's like the old days of Max power. And show all aspects of the car in full, how many times are they gonna zoom in on pointless fuel caps etc!

Hi,

Thanks for the comments, I never realised there weren't any pics of the rear until I read this! If someone can upload my pics I'll email them some if you want to see them....

TBH the wheels are one of my favourite bits! Not seen those wheels in white before, let alone on a Nova...

I've ordered a quaife atb lsd now and might have a few other bits to help my 1/4 time this year.

Lovely Car!!! Looks like mine from the rear.....

But BADLY needs lowering!!! It looks shockingly high at the rear. And in my opinion would look awesome another 15-20mm lower! Its cause theres no weight in the back I suppose

miles
03-02-04, 04:56 PM
Its lowered 60mm already (which is probably too much), but as you say, there isn't much weight in the back to bring it down.

Nick's wheels aren't white ;)

The cage wasn't fitted in the last pics. I only bought it in October, from that Malc from redline who annoyed a few people...

I mis interpreted what you wrote..

miles wrote

i read it as meaning you've not seen those wheels before on a nova.

It is as i noted earlier fantastic for a budget-build.

No problem RMJ....

Its a C16XE (1.6 16v out of a corsa gsi)

As for budget, I did it as cheaply as i could, but have still spent a fortune. Dont know how much exactly and dont really want to!

I got most bits second hand, the cage, management and loom, Cams, throttle bodies, brakes, suspension, wheels etc etc....

you mean, thats what the original shell was. It's no longer a Mk1 1.4sr is it Ste? It's actually a 2.016v on TB's last I saw. To the untrained eye, it does look like a black gsi.
