Light Switch!!!

Dear all you lucky Nova owners with a boot compartment light,

Please could you tell me where the switch for the light in your boot is located. I have sorted out the wiring and have a switch ready to use but I dont know where is the best place to locate the switch.

Please let me know

PS. the switch i am using is a standard door switch that operates the interior lights. If this is different to the switch in your boot please could you giv me some ideas of whee to put the switch.

mine is located near bootlifters and is of a different type to ordinary door switches, ain't got any pics soz :oops:

I see... fanx for the info mate.

I had an idea to locate the switch at the point where the rubber stoppers on the boot lid come into contact with the boot. this would involve a small hole to be drilled at that point and for the switch to be positioned inside the body so that the grey switch button pretudes from the body.

The only porblem with this is that if the rubber stopper doesnt seal the swicth properly then I mite get water seeping into the boot.

Any opinions on this idea?
