when the red led light comes on when your nearly out of petrol how many more miles can you do with it on roughly? :?

i think between 15-25 miles

iv run out of petrol in the middle of nowhere twice now! lol

all the crap from the bottom of the tank gets dredged up

i normally fill mine up once it gets just under half way on the guage (digidash) which seems to represent ~2gallon left

and i normally get about 200miles between each fill which is ~33mpg

i was taught at college that it doesnt matter as ur pick up pipe aint touchin the bottom of ur tank so very little wud be sucked up

i cut open my 230k mile tank... there was no crap in it the pickup pipe has a sock over it to filter the fuel
