Exhaust help!!

hi folks
fitted 1.6 8v cavalier engine to my nova for autotesting,
cavalier downpipes too long to match nova system,
Will gte/gsi downpipes bolt straight on to cavalier manifold?

or can i bolt on 1.2 manifold and use 1.2 exhaust system i have (near new)

car only for autotesting, any ideas
