I'm after a MK2 1.4 Luxe (3 door) and I am wondering what the insurance is like (I'm 17 in a low risk area) and how much I can pick one up for in decent nick... Cheers!

www.autotrader.co.uk - helped me to find a 1.2 and if u sign up then u can perform some detailed searches.
as for insurance try tescos (1.2 low risk area 17 = ?888)

yeah do what rexy said get a 1.2 the insurance will kill ya at the moment of u get a 1.4. There probably wont be much difference in power between the mk2's 1.2 and 1.4

if u get a good 1.2 u wil be able to race 20.l 16v and beat them off the spot in a multi story car park ;)

(lack of traction but i still won)

hey DFBA19168@cableinet.co.uk, why not go to the 'self help' section of the www.Blueyonder.co.uk website and sort yourself out with some proper aliases...

Ben.

Thanks! I'm going with 1.2 Nova idea. I'm hoping to stick 15" Momo Arrows, clear side repeaters, sunstrip, lowered 60mm, arches rolled, debadged, delocked, sub/amp package, single cd headunit, k&n filter and peco bb4. Will this upset my insurance much if i fit a disklok, clifford concept 600 alarm/immob system and mul-t-lock?
