ok Mr Sensible Breeny here for a sec, just a little note to say ALWAYS take precautions when doing stuff with your car. So far I have metal in my eye (angle grinder) lungs full of p38 dust (i couldnt breathe for about 15 minutes last night) and a load of cuts on my hands/arms (angle grinder again)

thats a good point. i always wear my saftey gogs, and leather work gloves when grinding and working under tha car,rust and mud in eyes, AAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH.

but i look a right twat when abit of totty walks past and ive got me gogs on. :'>

i got a bit of rusty metal and a drop or old oil in my eyes when i was changing my sump gasket. hmm oil stings like fusk and the metal really did hurt. i nearly had to goto hospital to have it sorted.

breeny a prevention to the p38 thing is to not need it in the first place. or to do it with water. yeah it gets through sand paper likes theres no tommorow but its a tad safer!!!
