ok guys and gals my mini loan looks all set i shall be talking to velos on monday its going on the engine and we're either thottle bodying and rebuilding my current 1.6 8v or seeing where we can get with a 1.6 16v (which i'de have to source first.) looking at aprox. ?2000 in funds. i know its not enough for ultimate spec. but im not going for a trackday special it really needs to be reliable and only thirsty when i floor it spec. the 1.6 8v currently has only b+ head and did 106bhp/105lbft torque on velos rollers in november. apart from chrome bits the rest of it is standard.
looking at it really, i guess were talkin modding the 8 valve aren't we?
?2k aint enough to buy, install and throttle bod a c16xe. dunno...
p.s: no off the road for months/years planned here though; this all has to be done before summer. if poss.
