distibutor!

once again the distributor has fell to pieces. i brought this one for ?15 from my local breakers although it wasnt in great condition. but anyway this one has now fallen to pieces just like the old one did! is this a problem with the car or just the fact i need to get a decent distributor? its the springs in the distributor that have fallen off so the car still runs fine. but i just dont want it to break down on me.

from not seeing the engine we cant really say if it that or not but what i could suggest is that you try a new one and if it happens again then there is something wrong

its a common problem on the lucas / delco distributors

when the one went on my sisters car it took me ages to fine one which wasnt knackered, searched thru at least 12+ before i found a good one
