MOT Friday...

Well its that time of year again and the GTE's up for its annual test on Friday.

Gave it a quick inspection on one of the ramps in our workshop today, underneath looks much more solid than i expected.

Only things im going to do before Friday are...

:arrow: Replace both CV boots
:arrow: Fit new suspension all round
:arrow: New tyres all round

Hopefully wont fail on much but are a couple of dubious patches on inner wings but not serious and the fact that both front and rear towing eyes are missing (well in the boot).

Call me cynical, but wont it fail on the fact that the chasis rail fell off, taking the towing eye with it?

If it passes with that, I am taking mine there! :o

Nah it failed on a few things...

Both front CV boots split (it was raining yesterday)
4 holes in front chassis rail by tie bars.
Small hole on seam on NSF turret
Fuel pump insecure (i think the coat hanger holds it well)

Not to bad at all really, no metion of the fact both towing eyes have fallen off and the exhaust is dangling from the downpipe.

Mine passed with it held on by a cable tie and a piece of pipe to jam it in :lol:

mines bin moved in2 the spare wheel well and the covered the boot floor in chequer plate so mines safe as owt

mine passed last month alls i had 2 do was adjust my single wiper so it wasnt stuck in the middle of the screen and replace my blue head lights
