I need DRIVESHAFTS!!!

As u will prob know ive been stressin about getting driveshafts for my conversion, well i picked up some GSI shafts today, just need to find out if they are the opel or Saginaw type, 22 or 28 spline, if these are 28 then i can go get the GTE ones they have aswell and see if they are 22 :D

Dont want to upset you but the GSi shafts wont be any good, it is only the F reg and very early G reg GTE's with the 22 splines.

We have 6-7 sets of GSi ones and there all 28 splines.

We found two sets of shafts buried under various bonnets and tailgates in the garage today, will check how many splines they have on Saturday.

Remember not all GTE ones are 22 either.

why didn't you count the splines when you picked them up?

mine is an 89 gte and has 28 spline shafts

the guy wouldn't let me look there and then, but i asked if i can take them back and he said yes as long as i dont damage them. got reciept for them.

might go look now, it's only 11.15pm!

So, if some early GTE's are 28 spline, does that mean that some GSi's will have the 22 spline efforts?

im getting the same dam problem as neil, cant find these ellusive 22 splines anywhere, did track some and he wanted ?60 for some bare shafts, f#ck that!. cant even find any diesels whci have the magic shafts!! :? :cry:

I used my standard GSi shafts with no problems so some GSi's must have the 22 spline ones.
