lookin sweet mate, is the paint faded on the inside and all?

Tar's a piece of piss to get off the rear bench area, just get a scraper and a kettle of boiling water, lift an edge and pour the boiling water under as you lift and you can virtually roll up when its malable.
The get some carb cleaner to remove residue.
The front footwells now thats awkward as you end up scolding yourself and is hard to remove from by the seat runners as ity sits flush against them.
how u keep ya carpet so clean!! lookin good..
Looks good.
I found the best way to remove tar was to use a hairdryer. This will stop you having to mop up a load of scolding water. hold the hairdryer on the area for a while then just peel it back. I managed to get mine off in an afternoon.

what subframes/runners are you using to attach your seats?

yes the buckle is but due to the loading and direction of pull its ok.....
you really need to look at the belts with the seat removed..... they should be just as tight... or only pull you down/backwards

Thanks for the comments :)
I've got a heat gun so taking off the tar shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'm gonna take the carpets out of the front footwells soon and spray the whole inside but i've got to take out the spare wheel well first then i can spray the whole lot at once.
The seats are mounted on a combination of Mini and Nova subframes welded together. I've got some pics of when i made them somewhere i will try and find them for you.
Miles i need to get in touch with you soon as i need a passanger side wing mirror in red :)
Got one in white, should meet up sometime mate :)
