hrm driving to uni today on some really slippy snow shite

doin about 15mph in 2nd gear and road camber goes all wonky

car starts pulling to the left and steering input does nothing, heading streight for a parked car and managed to turn it into the kerb to stop it hitting the car

mangled the wing, took a gouge out the bumper and a bit of the alloy since the kerb was about 6" high :@

jeeees, sorry to hear that mate,

last year my mate bought a fiesta zetec and went into acurb at an angle doing a similar speed. His steering was all knackerd and needed a new arm/rack/wheel.

Hope everything internal on yours is ok. How is the steering?

Last year in the snow i went in to the back of a teacher out side college. I was only doing about 15 mph and she hit the hedge and came to a stop completely, there was nothing i could do but go in to the back of her. Trashed both my wings, front bumper bonnet and grill, damn Novas cruple is a fly hits them!

i think i was so lucky that the kerb was so high

the brunt of the force was shunted thru the bumper and wing rather than the wheel/steering components

its a pi$$er m8 :9 i feel for you

hope it dosent take too much to sort it out.

anyone who has been to velos knows there location out in the sticks, the forcourt area thing is on a bloody slope and you have to drive down the side of another companies garage, well i couldnt pull away on an angle, cos any steering other than striaght the wheels spun.

so doing a hill start on fresh 1 inch thick snow, no traction at all, i couldnt steer around the other companies garage, just kinda slid!

o well. the joys ay - roll on summer when we can show these sexy motors off 8)

Next time turn the car around, and reverse up the hill! the car will be pushing rather than pulling, and with all those ponies mike, im sure youll get up the hill
