Replacement doors

Hi all

On my 92 nova, the drivers door is getting fairly rusty at the bottom and along the bottom seam, I think its been resprayed quite badly at some point as rust pits are coming out around the lock.

Can you buy a new door, or is it best to get one from a scrappy and prep it up? If you can get them new, what sort of cost we looking at?

you'll usually find doors for sale in the for sale section on here. new doors cost ?300 (from what people have said on here) and you prob wont find decent ones at a scrappy. either that pm ben off here, he usually gets loads of doors.

are mk1 and mk2 the same?

yes all nova HATCH 3 door, doors are the same, dont go getting a 5 door or a salooooon one! lmfao

or see if ppl have any mint ones, look to pay around ?50 a door for VCG ones

If there is a vauxhall specialist breakers near you try them... one i called at once had rows n rows of doors, bonnets and tailgates all lined up in various colours.
