i made mdf doorcards for my first nova.

used the old ones as a template and cut them out, painted them black with a blue stripe and added an alloy door pull.

then just screwed the fuckers to the door

MDF doorcards? :|

Why not just buy some fabric and recover them?

Get a sheet of chequer plate. Use your existing door card as a template. Draw round it, then cut the shape out of the chequer plate. Use screws or rovets to attach it to the door. Only problem with rivets is that you wont be able to get the door cards off without drilling the rivet.

Theres a chance they will rattle, but if you secure them to the chequer plate and also sound proof behind the speaker, you should be ok.

I'm not a fan of chequer for door cards as it's too heavy and isn't easy to work with. Your honestly best of recovering the original door cards.
