gearbox 4 speed or 5 speed?

Ive just got a gte engine and box and will be putting it in my 1.2 merit at weekend can i use the 4 speed box off the little 1.2 rather than the 5 speed box of the gte.

the clutch and flywheel from the 1.6 might not fit in the 4 speed bellhousing.

even if it did would nt you lose like total top end anyway??

4th gear in the 1.2 box is the same as the close ratio box's 5th

so assuming it is still the close ratio box thats on the gte he wouldnt lose any top end

the box wont fit tho as the flywheel is 20mm bigger and wont go under the F10 bellhousing
