Just thought i'd update on the progress. Its looking near complete now. Finished fitting the fuel tank, and hung the exhaust up, altho it isnt sitting 100% yet.
Just finding it hard to get a new job, but as soon as i do i'll be saving to get the engine built, then with a few extra's it'll be finished :D I REALLY Cant wait to drive it, its been off the road since december 2002! Roll on the summer!
Before i washed it, was a bit dusty with the garage.

I've learned alot more from this rebuild than i did from the last one. Alot happier with the car in general :D

100% sure i'll be at Trax, I'd love to make it to billing, but other than that i'm not sure! It all depends when i can get a job and have it finished!

I sooo wanted the clusters from your nova, i even bid on them on ebay, but missed out. I think i might go for the complete red ones, of maybe you could get me a set like you had?

Same interior i had in it before. Its a Sting interior, which is same as SR only solid rear seat. Its re-trimmed in Black/Grey Leatherette. I'm also getting my Dash flocked like bretts :D In the future i'd like alcantara Sparco Milano's and a chrome cage.
My speedlines will be blasted and polished to a mirror finish when i have it on the road too :D Cant wait :D:D

nice keith. how much was the fuel tank?
Looking very very nice indeed Keith me old mucker, agree with what otehrs have said - Fog light euro cluster, all reds or the 3 red 1 clear rear lights would set it off a treat (Oh and putting the boot vinyl on ;) )
Whilst you're reading this and talking about shows, I'll be at PV and VBOA this year if you want that SR tailgate vinyl, I think I still have it somewhere......

exactly Keith, i go on every year now and do a number of other track days aswell.
You can drive as fast or slow as you want . You are probably more likely to crash your car on the road as you are on a track anyway mate as you and everyone else on there is more alert. Though it does get a bit hairy at times! If you thought the worst though you would never take the car out of the garage, thats what i think anyway.
Better to enjoy it 'drive it hard' than just look at it thats what i say
All black rear lights...
you know it makes sense!

Yep, i think i'll definatly concider it! All depends if i get the engine run in properly before it! I'll need a few thousand on the clock before i can drive it hard!
Looking forward to the summer :D
Keith
Keith - you gotta go to VBOA m8 - it's the daddy of the shows - plus it's jam packed full of the mintest Vauxhalls!!!
