ive just had a race with my mate who has a fiesta 1.25 16v zetec and the fucker kept up with me in 1st and 2nd gear!!!!!. i've got a 1.6 gte. i couldn't believe it :o

they are v quick the engine is a spot on design and produckes 70+bhp

it sounds wicked aswell with a piper x air filter. i left it well behind once i got into 3rd though:D

u sure u was trying ur hardest! i done a 1.25 of the lights in my little 1.2! untill bout 60 then they are a bit quick

i blew away a 1.25 in my 1.3 sr al the way to 110 then it started to catch me up but there still wank and made by ford

My 1.4 SR is slightly quicker in 1st & 2nd but pulls away from them comfortably in 3rd. They are pretty quick though for a small engined car!

my m8s got one. skinned him in a 1300, demolished him in a 1400.

Well they got fuckn no chance against me in my 1.6SR, I over took 2 in a row within 150m between 2 roundabouts the other night. Try racing the 1.6 16v, kept up with it to 70, he got slightly ahead, then i caught back up at 90 and overtook.

Slow! For the size of the engine they are not that fast, they are normal for todays cars.
Same as the Punto 1.2 Sporting, 75bhp roughly (even though the fiat has got 90).
They are okay cars, but I think that Ford are wearing the Fiesta name out big time now, its over 20 years old!
The 1.6 zetec isnt that fast either, for a 16valver it should be reaching the 115bhp mark, not 101!

Go in Michael Barrymore's swimming pool...I think not!

I fink they are well slow, me mum has one and its poo! No where near as fast as my GTE in any gear!

I'm not surprised that fiestas fast elsey. 12.5 Litre engine that's pretty big :D
