Dump Valves

Do you REALLY have to have a turbo before you can fit a dump valve,i know they depressurise something, they sound ace, is there anyway of gettin a fake one if ya know what i mean? have even considered gettin a tape player and recordin one and playin when i change gear, but then who would be drivin?

Yes you need a turbo :) All it means, is you'll have to save up and get a 2.0 16v turbo engine swap sorted!

I looked into getting a neutral bottle of gas fitted under the bonnet, then having a button on my gear stick. Then when u change gear, u press the button which releases gas giving that whhoooompsssshhhhhh sound!!!! lost interest after phoning loads of gas companies....costhey all took the piss!!!
