..nothing to do with painting; but it is about oil. my gsi has spent passed few years being run on 10w/40w black vaux.oil semi synthetic. when i had my B+ head done i switched it to vauxhalls silver 5w/40w fully synthetic. need to change oil agagin soon; should i go back to black semi synth. or stick with the silver fully synth. everything seems ok with the fully synth oil but is the semi synthetic thicker (better) from cold?? i just get the feeling the fully synthetic is a bit thin for my cold starts. car is 11 years old this year and has done 75,000 miles. cheers. boring question i affraid.
