just wondering is it possible to still open the door if you remove the key barrel from the door and smooth it over ??

havent got central or remote locking or nothing like that just want the door to be smooth !!!

If you just remove the barrel from the door, then when you get out, how are you going to lock the door?

You would need to put some kind of remote locking in.

I know its not very nice but I think this post warrents such a reply: Duh, how you gonna lock the door with no lock?! :roll:
You need central locking kit and remote locking alarm to lock them.
Look on ebay for 'em. I have central locking as standard so I got an actuator for the drivers door (tenner from Maplin) and pucker remote locking alrm/immobiliser from ebay (90 quid)

if its just the passenger lock then all u have to do is lean over and lock/unlock to door
